Wayne is a founding member of GOVA, the trade association for online video, and served as the founding Chairman of the IAWTV. He has lectured at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and UCLA’s Anderson School of Business. He has been featured in numerous publications, including Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
Before founding Kin Community, Wayne served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Sony Pictures. Prior to joining Sony, Wayne served as Vice President, Business Development for Launch Media where he was part of the core team that grew the online music media company from start-up through IPO and ultimately to its acquisition by Yahoo! Prior to Launch Media, Wayne was a Marketing Manager for The ABC Television Network. He began his career as an entrepreneur in Prague, Czech Republic, where he founded Velvet Magazine, the first English-language city magazine in Central and Eastern Europe.
Wayne earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN. He’s a board member of the Los Angeles chapter of Girls Inc., a non-profit organization that provides more than 140,000 girls across the U.S. and Canada with life-changing experiences and solutions to the unique challenges girls face.
As VP & General Counsel, Anna Czege leads the company’s legal affairs, including all financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, corporate governance and employment law. Anna also oversees Kin Community’s litigation and intellectual property protection efforts.
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2010, Anna practiced corporate law for Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where she advised domestic and international corporations, private equity firms, boards of directors and financial advisors in the areas of public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital markets (including several large IPOs), finance, corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters. Prior to that, Anna worked for prominent law firms Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP as a corporate lawyer.
Anna has considerable experience in negotiating complex legal transactions in various industries, including entertainment, media, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, insurance and pharmaceutical. Anna received her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
As Vice President, Programming & Production at Kin Community, Beth Le Manach is responsible for overseeing the original programming strategy and execution for Kin Community’s owned properties, original series and custom content created in partnership with brand advertisers.
Beth was instrumental in creating the vision for Kin Community, one that would resonate with and engage women around the world. She is also the host of her own channel, “Entertaining with Beth,” which is one of the top growing channels in the Kin Community network.
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2009, Beth was the beauty and fashion producer for HoneyShed.com, an online video website specializing in e-commerce and funded by the Publicis Groupe. Beth also served as the Development Executive and Supervising Producer for Homerun Entertainment where she developed and pitched show ideas to major cable networks and managed several series in production. Beth was also responsible for producing Homerun’s branded entertainment projects for national advertisers.
Beth started her career producing lifestyle content for the Scripps Networks (HGTV, Food Network, Fine Living and DIY). As an on-staff producer, Beth produced how-to and story driven content for the company’s four networks.
As Vice President, Sales, Lauren Merriam is responsible for all advertising revenue at Kin Community. She manages a sales and client services organization with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Toronto (Kin Canada). She and her team have worked with dozens of Fortune 500 companies to execute award-winning brand content and digital media campaigns. Lauren has over 12 years of experience in traditional and digital media..
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2011, Lauren worked in sales and marketing for the Wasserman Media Group. During her 5 years there, she executed marketing campaigns for Studio411 (now GrindTV), consulted for the PGA Tour, and sold sponsorships for major sports properties including Tottenham Hotspur, the New York Jets and Giants, the Kansas City Royals and USA Cycling.
Lauren began her career working in PR for ESPN's X Games based in Bristol Connecticut.
She received her Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from both the Isenberg School of Management and Sports Marketing program at University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
As VP of Finance at Kin Community, Tejal is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow and accounting. In addition she spearheads the company’s annual strategic planning process.
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2014, Tejal was in the TV Finance group at NBC/Universal and managed annual production budgets of over $1 billion. She managed development, scheduling and post-production finance.
Tejal has worked in Finance roles for over 13 years in different industries including electronics manufacturing, board game manufacturing and distribution, music distribution, and women’s lifestyle (Avon).
Tejal received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
As VP of Marketing at Kin Community, Steve is responsible for overseeing Integrated Marketing, Brand Development, Data and Insights as well as PR and Events.
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2015, Steve spent 15 years at Starcom Mediavest Group. He led Strategic Media Planning, Business Development, and most recently co-founded SMG’s creative consultancy – Zero Dot.
At Zero Dot, Steve designed cross-platform and cross-media brand experiences for clients including Electronic Arts, Mattel, Samsung, Kraft, Spotify, US Cellular, AB InBev and Beam Brands.
Steve attended The American University in Washington DC.
As Managing Director, Kin Canada, Rick manages all as aspects of Kin’s Canadian business operations based in Toronto, Canada.
He is responsible for leading the strategic growth of Kin Canada by driving new business partnerships, providing high-quality partner management and growing the company's audience in Canada. He also works closely with Corus Entertainment’s Client Marketing group to develop and facilitate highly-successful multi-platform brand campaigns.
Prior to joining Kin Community in 2014, Rick was the Executive Producer of Steven and Chris, one of Canada's most popular lifestyle TV shows.
Rick received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary.
